in the name of the cities. Qum carpets are coming from the city of GHOM. Most of the Qum carpets are pure silk on silk carpet. The designs are mainly Midallian Design. The other designs
are TREE OF LIFE, HUNTING SCENE, SQUIRE( GARDEN), FLOWER, DOOM, OPEN,MEHRAB. There are too many famous families who making high quality carpets with their family name.
Qum carpets from " MASOUMI '' Family is famous for their top quality carpets with
aproximately 1300-1400 knots per S.inch. In Bahrain , we are the Sole Agent for Masoumi
Carpets. The sizes available for MASOUMI carpets are 2x3 Ft., 2.5 x 4 Ft. and 3 x 5 Ft.
Oher famous families are SAWAH,MEERMEHDI, ABDULKASSIM JEDDI, HAMID,KASHISADAH JAMSHEERI , NOORI, RAKSHANI , BEHRAMI, etc…. ON those, some families making only their own purticular detailed desaigns, e.g. MEER MEHDI,JAMSHEERI. Other families making all dssigns.

NAIN is another major city in IRAN. The carpets fron there is known as NAIN carpets. It is made of wool & silk mix, aproximatley 80% wool & 20 % silk. The important designs are Midallian, Open Tree of Life & Doom in Beige back-ground with Blue. 95 % carpets boarder is in Beige colours. There are many different quality carpet coming from there. The famous family for Nain Carpet is "HABIBIAN" who making all high quality carpets.
1. NAIN CHARLA - The best quality Nain Carpet ,what we stocked. Charla means 4 threads in one thread of each frinches. The knots per squire Inch for these quality is aproximatley 650-750 per S.inch With us, we stocked the sizes as 3 x 5 Ft, 4 x 6 Ft, 5 x 8 Ft, 2 x 3 Mtr and 2.5 x 3.5Mtr in all colours. Charla Habibian is very popular.
2. NAIN SHISHLA - Shishla means 6 threads in one thread of each Frinches. The Knots for these quality is 550 - 650 / S.inch. We stocked a huge quantity in all available sizez and colour. 4. NAIN TABAS - The lowest quality carpet from Nain. These carpets are making outside the Nain City ; as Nain Nohla Carpets. Knots for these quality is 250-350 per S.inch. These quality is coming in large sizes from 2 x 3 Mtr onwards .

TABRIZ is another major city in IRAN. The carpets coming from that area is called TABRIZ carpets. The famous designs are FISH (it is called Fish because it's small flower look like fish shell), FLOWER midallian, DOME (Jambad),HERIZ (geomatric) and HERATI (single,single flowers in open Design). They make the carpet in silk & wool in cotton base as well as in silk base. Flower design carpets are coming commenly in Silk based which. is high quality Tabriz. Heriz design allways in geometric pattern in Red,Blue,Beige,Green & Black mixed colours.
